This picture was taken in 1990 in the Soviet Union. This is me (center) with my first dogs, a silver teacup poodle Nils and an apricot teacup Peggy, who were my first show dogs. Many things have changed since then: the USSR got collapsed, I came to the US to pursue a Ph.D. and became an American. In 2017, my son asked for a Goldendoodle puppy for Christmas. Although I wanted a poodle very much, a Goldendoodle was a compromise:)  Little did I know that this precious little furball would become the greatest love of our family, our heart, and our soul.
